"WHALE OF A CLAM"
CHOWDER COOK-OFF

This was The Shwack Beach Grill's first year participating in the "Whale of a Clam" Chowder Cook-Off. The cook-off took place during the Annual Festival of Whales and this year benefited the Fish for Life Organization. We competed against 16 other local restaurants hoping to win the People's Choice, Mayor's Choice, or Best Booth Decoration awards. Our "Rockin' Shwack Chowder" was voted 3rd place overall and participants were coming back for seconds, thirds, some even eighths! It was an awesome day serving up samples of our chowder to the community and even better knowing it was for a great cause!
